Thermometer why TF don't we say Thermo-meter. It's obviously supposed to mean thermo & meter, it's function and intended use is right in the damn name. Yet we butcher it and call it a thur-mom-eter. We get it right with Thermostat Thermo-stat (the status of the temperature). And thermocouple Thermo-couple, two materials coupled together that measure temperature. Thermodynamics, Thermo-dynamics (the study of heat and energy) Thermocline Thermo-cline the point of dilenation of two tempratures.. Then we have stupid ass thermometer over there like Thur-mom-eter
