Thanks, his tine length was better last year but he might have more mass this year. He's a stud for that area. This makes the 3rd year he’s been on the hit list. Two years ago I was waiting for him to step out to shoot, no clue where he went, didn’t see him again.
That’s my guesstimate. Too bad he doesn’t have any tine length. I passed him last year as a really good 2 year old 9 or small 3 year old. Trail cams might save his life but he could be a low light mistake.

I'm no expert but I don't see that deer gaining much more tine length even if he does make it another year or two. He looks old enough and big enough now that I'd shoot him lol.

This is the buck I passed last night.....Clubhead. He had a club on his right side last year that grew down past his eye. This year it was greatly improved. Hoping it continues to get better next year.
This was the buck that came in this morning.....Ocho. He breaks tines in early November. If he survives we need to get him in October next year.
I am thankful I didn't have to make a decision on this buck....he is the one I watched breed the doe on November 2nd. The plan is to let him go. He came in this evening on cell cam just after I left.
