Ingredients:
6 large bell peppers (3) red &(3) green
(1) large sweet onion
(6) Hungarian wax peppers
(6) jalapeños peppers
1 pint of pepper jelly
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons of red pepper flakes
(2) 13oz. jars of Prego Traditional spaghetti
(2) large bags of beef meatballs. Sam’s Club are the ones I used at Strouds.
I sliced and diced all of the peppers and onion and then sautéed them on medium heat with a tablespoon of olive oil. A Blackstone griddle works great!
Put the meatballs in a large saucepan then add the Prego spaghetti sauce, peppers and onion, and the rest of the ingredients listed. Stir to mix all ingredients well and let simmer on medium heat while stirring occasionally. Add salt and pepper to your liking.
This will feed a large group like our gathering has, but you can cut the ingredients in half for a smaller group.
