Spotted lantern fly

I’ve heard that Pennsylvania has a bad problem with this invasive insect but I’ve never seen one myself here in Jersey...until today. He was on the barn door and flew into my chest then fell on the ground...where I then proceeded to put the boot leather to him. Anyone ever seen one in Ohio?

They are bad news for apples and grape growers. The tree of heaven is a host plant.

Saw about a half dozen of these guys flying around the local Walmart parking lot today. Was able to put the boot leather to this one. Also seen a few at a local auction around 20 miles from my home. Afraid these guys are here to stay.
