Turkeys were definitely active on the roost this morning. There’s a couple turkeys that roost a couple hundred yards too our NE and a Hoot owl nesting below the house too the S. They were vocally sparring this morning when I took Bristol out @0615

Tennessee started off slow for us but we were on them, my brother and a buddy doubled the morning we were leaving to head to kentucky. We got here bought our licenses and hit the woods. Me and my brother doubled on jakes just because of how it played out after crawling 200 yards threw a tick infested field and this morning we set up on a bird I was on yesterday and he flew straight from the limb to gun barrel. Gonna hunt this evening and tomorrow morning and head back to ohio. Won't hunt much back home with baseball softball and work in full swing but im gonna try to find time to get the kids out.

Good luck to all the turkey hunters this season! Sydney and I popped up a blind for us to climb in tomorrow morning. May rain may not. They fertilized our pasture today. Probably not going to help us but it is what it is Good hunting everyone!
