Spy Point Camera Update..

Ok.... So as most know not long ago I was ripping on Spy Point cameras for being a pile of garbage... Mostly taking pictures of NOTHING using up the 100 free pics in a day.... Is this a setup to get you to purchase a plan??? Don't know... But... This will make you think... The camera I had up a month or so ago was taking pics of nothing ( no weeds etc. in front of camera ) in two days time I used up 100 pics of nothing... So I had that same camera laying in my truck and was putting out cameras for bears and ran short on cameras, so what the hell do I have to lose, I grabbed the Spy Point and threw it up... HOWEVER.... For shits and giggles I... bought a plan to send me unlimited photos.... Guess what ??? I HAVE NOT GOTTEN ONE PIC, NOT ONE OF NOTHING... NO FALSE TRIGGERS... All great photos... Again not one false trigger... And great photos nice and bright and crisp... So I'm gonna buy 2 more....

I had the same problem with my SP Flex until it was updated. Of all the cameras I've run over the years, SP is the most finicky when it comes to the firmware. Glad you got it sorted out!

On a side note, I had my board meeting this morning, and two of my board members are neighbors. They both saw a bear over the weekend. It's not unusual to see lone, young males wandering around this time of year, including strolling through town several years ago. I've had cams in the woods for 21 years, and I'm still waiting on my first bear pic!

Jesse.... I think every camera manufacture has issues with firmware and their updates... Name of the game I guess... What really gets me is EVERYONE HAS SHITTY CUSTOMER SERVICE !!! I tried calling Tactacam this week and never got through like 3 times...

Bears???? No pics yet??? Soon...don't worry... Your pretty close to PA. and they will migrate over soon.... They are a majestic animal to see and hunt.... BUT.... Are a royal PIA...
