Squirrel Hunt at the Deer Feeder

Took my Dad's favorite rifle out today in his remembrance. It's a Remington Model 514 which shoots shorts~long rifles. Used the short CB's and they didn't scare the squirrels if you missed. Eyes are not what they used to be, but still fared fairly well. He'd be wanting them fried Right Now!




I need to find a scope mount for this thing!

That is just fun! I think I'm going to go for a bit tomorrow morning. I had to strip down and clean my old Savage the other day. It had started mis-firing, and I took that as a sign it must be time for a proper cleaning. Re-sighted and ready to roll! Have fun, Rick, that's what it's all about!
