Amazing body count!

That is just how many each dog treed. I don’t know exactly how many we killed, but probably over 100. Gotta do a tail count. After tomorrow. 30 minutes ago I was about 10 seconds from having a 10-12 yard shot at an adult doe. BB fawn was about 30 yards ahead of her and smelled me just in time. Fuck this light and variable wind!

Have you ever tracked how many days in the field? I guess I could count entries in this thread if I wanted. If they’re all tracked here?

No, not running dogs. I used to keep detailed notes about all my days deer hunting. Don’t even do that anymore. I probably posted every squirrel hunt here, or at least mentioned them all, though.

I left the shop door open today since it's warmer outside than in the shop. two nosey dogs found the pile of squirrel tails. I suppose it's about time to start handing out the booty, anyway. that's 119 tails in the pile. 117 now.
