This season is already fun! Been "lucky" again in the woods. OH turkey season opening day. The hens and Tom's start coming in Feb then thru Mar and into the season. They come to some plots I created 5 years ago and some last Winter. The Toms, start using them as strutting lanes and become habituated to using them. Now a matter of some scouting and a good setup. My dad had a saying, "The harder you work, the luckier you get." Wild Turkey piccata and soup is back on menu

This group hit that plot Sat and Sun AM, then again this AM.

I got 'lucky' capturing the Tom gobbling into my blind at 11 yrds, then a quick strike at 9 yrds. Great vocals from the flock while he's flopping. Turn your volume way up... replay the first second or two a couple times.

LoL, been awhile since I watched this one, just sent this to my buds with a reminder to save the dates for the coming season. Reduced to one globber which is fine, we are showing no quarter to the coons this winter...
