About time to start thinking about a menu and who is going to cook, and bring stuff? I can bring Black Chubby and smoke something one night if yall want.

Just curious ... when you get your walleye, do you take out the cheeks too ? Years ago at my other camp, someone had those & they were wonderful.

Usually when I clean them I do remove the cheeks. I'll see what I have. I know I have some fillet packs that I tossed some cheeks in with them. Usually I keep a Tupperware container in the freezer for just cheek meat. During the spring run, I'm usually cleaning 20+ walleye a week. Add water each day I clean some and freeze. By the end of the season I have a big container of nothing but cheek meat. Many ways to eat them, but my favorite is to boil them with lemon, let cool, and eat them with cocktail sauce like shrimp.

I’m planning on attending Friday night and Saturday during the day. Not sure what I can offer that isn’t already covered food-wise but I’d like to contribute so just let me know what the needs are...I’d be happy to pitch in where I can
