Hate that I wasn’t able to make it out this year. Got a lots of days off work coming up with the wedding and everything. But looks like everyone had a great time. And congrats to all the successful hunters.

Was fun talking about the history of different events for the decade plus, over the long week, along with the evolution of membership. We've done a lot, seen a lot, and created thousands of memories!
I'm pretty certain I won't see Strouds again for approx. 11yrs as the boys enter middle school and football will be priority #1. I took this week off to slowly cleanup and tuck those memories in tightly. Rest of the week is to hunt and to continue randomly laugh at the random nonsense that took place. Was a fun bus ride fellas!
And that is exactly how this evolution thing works. Good one you for making the next generation come first!

Made it home by 2 pm and Allen was on his way back to school by around 6:30 pm. Was so great to share the weekend with you all and the memories Allen and I have are priceless.

You're a good Dad and certainly involved in the boys' activities but that is no reason not to make time for yourself. Just couple days of "me" time is always needed. You'll figure it out. It would be selfish not to spend a little time with us and offer your 5 cents worth around camp.
Not BS at all. We're all blessed with different ways to spend our time, just puzzles pieces to move around. I get plenty of me days, football season is sacred to me. I'm far from the 1st and won't be the last (Cotty, Curran, Nayden, Greg, Nate just to name a few). On opposite side, I added the ML hunt.
