Summer Bash 25' July 18-20th!

Your timing sucks. I just put a perfectly good one in the trash two weeks ago after holding it for a few years. One of the kids had it at college and I got tired of it in the garage.

Back at the end of March I bought a percussion cap muzzy - I was talking to Dave about bringing it to the get-together and shooting, then I had the idea that guys should bring their muzzys (particularly the traditional stuff) and we could introduce guys who aren't yet involved. Then I kicked out the idea of a turkey shoot for fun. Anybody else think that idea has merit?

Also, I remember at Mingo we used to have trading/selling tables - I think we should resurrect that, if Dave could spare some room in that glorious barn.....

We used to put 30 grains of black powder and shoot a patch/round ball and it was a great time. Recoils like a 22 rifle and pretty accurate at close range….an added plus, you still get the loud bang and smoke!😂 Would be a good time for a turkey shoot and bragging rights for a year.

See, now this is what I'm talkin' bout..... I didn't know that, and have never done a turkey shoot...so lets do it
