Sunflower gone crazy

My daughter has taken to plants to brighten up the yard. One of her Sunflower plants

has take a trip into... the twilight zone.
Taken 5 days ago.



“Update on my sunflower. It’s definitely a mutant sunflower. It’s a blossom in the middle of a blossom. But the “bonus blossom” has no middle. It’s literally just a huge cluster of petals. Needless to say we WILL NOT be eating the seeds from this guy. Just on principle.”
