Sweet Feed vs Corn.....

So last Sat. I dumped out 50 lbs. of sweet feed (tractor supply) and 100 lbs. corn... The sweet feed I piled in a pile and the corn I spread out all over... Damn deer are picking at the corn all around the sweet feed and not touching the sweet feed... I figured they would go crazy over it... Nope... Prefer the corn... And these are big woods deer, no Ag. fields for miles..... Go figure...

I never had good results either.It just made a mess.

Only thing I've tried that was close to sweet feed was some bags of mineral/apple/corn mix that was given to me. Can't recall the brand but the only things I had on camera eating it was coons. One thing I had good luck with was alfalfa cubes. Deer seemed to dig up the spots all winter where they laid. We had a guinea pig my wife was spending $$ on treats so I picked up a big bag of the alfalfa cubes to save money. Damn thing died not long after so I had to do something with the bag.
