T&K Archery

And also please don't take this the wrong way but if you have to tell them what to do to your bow, you might want to consider what kind of service your REALLY getting. its a process and you have to go through. not all bows are cookie cutter do this and it works.

My thoughts exactly, Milo.

Ricer, if you're not in a huge hurry to get your bow tuned up and going, I'd send Milo a PM and see if you two can meet up for a day. He's a whizz with cam.5 bows like the Hoyts. I don't have any experience with T&K, and they may very well be a great shop... But if they don't have any sort of range or tuning set-up, I don't think there's any way they can get you set up properly.

I won't take anything the wrong way, I am learning here and I just want my bow to be set up right. Is it standard when you have a new string and cables installed to set it back up with a split yoke instead of a floating yoke? In my defense my last bow was a 2000 Reflex Extreme, so it's been a while since I have had any new issues to think about. I have ordered the new string and cables and paid for them so that is a done thing but maybe we could hook up in the future we could make sure this is done right.

no its not standard to change from floating to static. It will more than likely come like it did from the factory. I can meet up sometime if needed. I'm in zanesville ever now and then.

Just wanted to take a minute and thank all you guys for your input. Milo and I are in the midst of working something out so I can get my bow to him and have it all fixed up. Looks like it will be after Christmas because rumor has it that Santa Claus is bringing me a new QAD HDX drop away rest for being a good little boy all year. LOLMilo and I both decided there was no use in having him do the work on my bow and then turn around and change the rest. And by the way, while I have ya here reading, what is your opinion on my choice of rest? Santa isnt a done deal yet.

One word...

Limbdriver.

Well I ordered my LD Pro V today. I'm just not allowed to have it until Christmas morning.:(

Great purchase, one you won't regret for sure! I've had half a dozen rests over my hunting career and the Pro V is by far the easiest to set up and most forgiving rest I have used!
