We have TMobile. I would put their service right up there with Verizon, at least here in SE Ohio.
Would anybody by any chance that does have T-Mobile be at strouds and be able to stream college football?
I will put this out there. If you have a cell phone provider that works for you but it is expensive look at their prepay service. They all have one. AT&T is Cricket. T-Mobile is Metro and Verizon is Visible. They are all half the price of their normal prices. A five phone family plan with Cricket will cost you about $125 a month. That would be well over $200 with AT&T. Don’t be afraid if the prepay carriers.

early this summer we found out that we were in a T-Mobile "test market" from a neighbor. After we got our TMobile hotspot set up and working we decided to cut all the cords. We dumped DirecTV, Centurylink (land line and awful DSL service), and Patriot Mobile (which was fine service and a very good deal and used TMobile's equipment, anyway).
Our internet access is about 5 times faster, so we can stream everything on tv now. We bundled everything with T Mobile and get Netflix for free and the 55 and over discount ($30 a month) even though neither of us is 55 yet. We are saving $300 per month. Fuck Centurylink and DirecTV. gouging bastards. we pay for Youtube TV which has pretty much every channel we ever watch, including all local channels, ESPN, BTN, Fox Sports, Have not had one single issue with wireless hotspot. has been a great change for us and saving us real money.

I remember your post about the Hotspot. We are also going to take the plunge. We cut the cord a couple of years ago, but this will still save us a good chunk.
For the most part yes.
Some carriers have slight differences depending on the rate plan. For the most part the difference is max internet speeds. Really only would make a difference if you are a gamer. An example would be Cricket, maxes the internet speed to 8-10 mbps on their lower rate plans. I can’t tell the difference. Never had buffering or anything when streaming. On the higher rate plans they do not limit the speeds so there is no difference.
Made the switch. So far so good.
