Thanks everyone. The ring actually has another two pieces that go with it. They needed some custom work done before they can be fit and gold soldered together to make the ring complete. I just couldn't wait the two weeks to get it completed before giving it to her as we would be back home then so she got the center now. The finished ring will look like this. The wedding ring later will be a simple white gold band.
