Congrats guys. Some deer slaying fools here. I have some youth points to add. Still looking for a buck that tickles my fancy. With rubs like this there's one around somewhere. Slick sucker though, haven't got a pic of him yet. Late season is upon us and IMO the best time to pattern one.

Works been kicking my butt and cutting into hunting time. Seems like when the rut hit my deer became scarce. They're trickling back in now. I can't wait for the snow to start falling, that's when they'll really be back.

I've had the worst week of the season this week.
Monday took the doe at dark. Messed up my sore right shoulder dragging the doe out.
Tuesday was laid up with a sore shoulder I couldn't lift or sleep with.
Wednesday hunted all day and got skunked for the 2nd time all year.
Thursday did some minor work and messed my shoulder up again and couldn't sleep.
Friday didn't hunt as I was up all night with my shoulder.
Saturday had my niece and her husband in for a quest hunt and I was hunting too. Hunted all day and got skunked again and only heard one questionable shot all day.
Sunday the 3 of us hunted till 1:00 and they had to go home. Got skunked again and heard no shots.
