Just going through some Halloween stuff, seen what could be a name for the team blood thirsty. Just putting it out there.
Seriously disappointed with the cam. We had a storm blowing in when I set it and had some pretty heavy winds with it. Knocked down the pole I had it mounted to so I ended up with NOTHING. I will also say that I probably didn't miss much because the corn I put out was all still there. Didn't even see much for deer sign in the old pastures and there are usually beds out there. Big old nothing right now. I also looked at the one big white oak tree they like and found acorns still hanging on the branches even at eye level. Crazyness I have to say.
I know they are there and where to find them. They have been bedding down in the river bottom since it's been so hot during the day. Just disappointed in the cam not getting any pics lol.
With these cooler temperatures they should start moving a little more. I was a little surprised they hadn't bedded in the pasturesat night while out eating some of the clover and other grasses in there.

Have had my stands up for awhile now and been getting some shooting in.
Going to hold off for something descent to show up and hope i can make a good shot.
Using the recurve again so will keep my shots under 30 yds,prefer 20 and under if i can make it happen.
This is my 18 yd group today so feeling pretty confident.
Anyone going to make it out the first day?
