Thanks guys! My urban spot requires I get a doe first so now that's out of the way I can start buck hunting.

Been sitting here trying to think of the last time I killed a deer off our farm and it's been a minute. Been 8 years! I finally have enough does out there I feel comfortable shooting one, so that may happen soon!
How's the season going for you guys?
I don't see me hunting much if at all until later in the month. I'm going to let the surrounding pressure push deer to our farm where they will find food, water, cover and plenty of does. I think being patient will pay off. Or at least I hope so!

I'm planning on going out this weekend on public over at Caesars Creek for a short sit.
Then going to strouds. I'm staying off the homeplace till the 31st - last year a lot a activity happened at the beginning of Nov, so I'm leaving it lay.
And that's a first for me - I kinda like this "easier schedule", not being all spun-up to hunt both days every weekend and burning myself out.
This is going to be a good year.

As of right now I've only got two does each with twins and two scrub bucks hanging around. So I'm not going out for a sit till probably next weekend. If the property I'm hunting this year follows the same pattern as last year I won't have anything showing up till around the 21st of October. I'm back to checking my cams every 3-4 days now in case something shows up earlier this year. I did notice 2 small rubs while on my way to check my cams today.

Guess we are all hunting instead of team talking. That's a good thing! Now go put some blood on the ground guys, thus weekend is gonna be good!
