I think you're right. I wasn't really looking for points, just wanted to share and work up some more team conversation. Well that, and pics of blown up deer hearts are just fuggin cool. Lol
No space in fridge and I don't have an extra. I don't think a cooler is the same. It's way too humid/moist in a cooler after a bit. A cooler is fine when you're in a pinch and have to get somewhere, but I don't like to keep meat in one for any extended period of time. I've had meat get slimy and rank, even when it's plenty cold enough in a cooler.

Way to keep piling them up boys! I've still only shot my one doe as well. I had a really nice one I was chasing but he was killed the opener of gun season. Took the wind out of my sails but I'll keep trucking along as soon as I'm done moping haha.
Ill do a write up when I get a chance. Cooler wasn’t a go this time, had room in the beer fridge (I know I know, weak). She’s cut up and in the fridge now. Special thanks to @Chass for the invite. The .44 did a number on this girl.
The blood pic is where I shot her, from 120-130 yards you could see the spray when she jumped! Pretty freaking sweet experience. Time to clean up, get some food in my belly and hit the sack.

Thanks fellas. Just looked at my cards again after a week...6 pics of nothing. Glad I made the drive today! Got some meat headed towards the freezer. Wasn’t sure if I’d get any this year.
Good deal man. I’m in the same boat. My heart hasn’t been in it at all this year so I haven’t been out much but I need the meat. Starting to feel the pressure a bit now. Operation corn dump begins this week
