Team Buckzilla

I actually seen a buck a few minutes ago! A good one... About 5 miles from anything I can hunt! A glimmer of light I’d say😂

I might go check my cam out back when the rain lets up. I doubt anything is on it. Thinking about taking it into the thicket along with some corn and grape drank. I know a spot scrapes show up about this time of year...might throw a cam in that area too.

I saw a dandy on the way home from work myself in the heavy rain feeding in clover. I could see a nice heavy wide frame from about 250 yards. Big bodied too. It was about 10-12 miles from home. 😂

This dude was about as wide as his ears but tall! I’m talking 18” above his ears. I told @Redneckfucker all about it because I know he works with a guy that can hunt the woods. One of the most unique bucks I’ve ever seen. Belly dragging the beans...man was it great to see!

That sucks man. Don't feel bad though because your not alone. Checked cams last Friday and only had pics for the 1st couple days. Drew a blank for 5 straight days. Will check again after hunting Saturday morning and see if any deer ever came back.
 
Corn was black...didn’t reapply or mess with any grape drank either. Hopefully when the corn comes down, the deer will be back. They really have no reason to come to my side of the creek right now. I’ll be submitting TC pics of myself to get us any points at this point...

Gotcha, I’ve got two cameras that may (or may not) get a soaking 😂

Haven’t run them in 3/4 years. We’ll see what happens...
 
Checked one camera today that's been on a week long soak...hoping for some valuable intel. Nope. Shitty placement on my part led to nothing but grass-waving triggers, which of course filled the card in less than 24 hours. No intel whatsoever from this one. Bummer.

I've only had cameras out for a couple weeks, nothing real exciting yet. About 300 pics of two young bucks fighting on three separate days.

Bitching and whining is an art that takes several years to perfect but I think y’all have been learnin and payin attention last couple years. Keep it up but let’s start picking it up this weekend. 🤗

Soooooooooooo, I have just a few decent deer to chase this year and are so far behind in getting ready for season to start I prolly won’t be able to get out after em till 2 weeks into season or later. Weekend hunting till my vacation in November unless I can get a few days off before then in late October or early November. Good luck fellow teammates, I hope y’all kill a GIANT!

We've all been there. Shit I've done it once this season already.

I agree. That buck is the walking dead. He looks like a young buck but he has no fat and if he's that bad now then I don't see him making it during rut. I honestly don't think he will make it more then another week or 2 at the most.
