Lol "X Factor"... I used to turkey hunt with an older guy who showed me how to eliminate the "X Factor" with spring gobblers. It was a whot and he certainly had a point every second they are off the limb adds so many variables. Unfortunately I do not have a similar association with deer or I would give you the magic secret.
If I killed a few buck like those in my lifetime tbh I would be to the point of being content. Times may be tough but a lot of us would kill to be in your position based on some of the pictures I have seen you post in the "Live from the stand". I guess its all relative but plus side is you are hunting some good property put a smile on things will happen.
Got the other 3 back from the taxidermist.
