I’m 54 and my testosterone is in the basement...111. My doc just put me on TRT...gel type. Anyone on this? Results...experiences?

I've not been on it, but know a little bit about it due to the implications in MMA. I can't help but think you're going to feel like a new man in short order. Hopefully, that's the case!
I was on a gel for a few months. Made my shoulders hurt (area I applied it) and really spiked my cholesterol and diabetes. Currently on nothing and awaiting an appointment May 22 to see the endocrinologist to figure out what to do next.
Not sure of your build but definitely express your concerns about polumbism. Google it. It happens even to light users. Before and after of joe rogan is another great example. But done right, TRT will help you. Less is more though and minimizing androgenic effects/off cycle of clomid or nolvadex type drugs are important. I’m guessing they’ll cycle you off and on to keep liver counts normal. I’d ask for the lightest effective doses of whatever test they're using.
That was the other thing out of whack for me, but I really can’t blame the meds for me having liver issues.
