The Battle of Athens, Tennessee, in 1946

This event took place in Athens, TN in 1946. Never knew an armed revolt by WWII veterans ever took place during our lifetime. A very sobering video to say the least.

Now the Second Amendment is a little clearer.

Great clip. I'd not seen that before tonight, but just yesterday I explained to my daughter what a loss we've suffered as a country with the passing of the WWII vets. When I was a kid, my mom's two older brothers were both combat vets of the S. Pacific. Those two men had more character than anyone I knew, and they took no crap from anyone...including a deputy on one occassion. Those men are turning in their graves seeing the "globalization" of this world and the politically correct stupidity our self-righteous society is mired in. Much better men than me have died for the freedoms we seemingly give away freely.
