The end of a bad day

Glad you're ok buddy that could have been seriously bad. If the tire went that far it must have been inflated. Did the lug bolts break or the hub explode?

Or the aluminum rim came apart.... Ohio weathers not kind too them dang things.....

4 lug nuts sheared off and the lug holes in the rim was egg shaped. Must of had loosen lug nuts. No real noticeable bumping or noise. It was the nephew's 2007 Ford 250 diesel crew cab with big mud tires and it has a lot of road noise. 1st time I ever drove out of town. He was OK with it and said 'shit just happens, I'll fix, you and Judy are OK and that's all that's important'.

Called Liberty Mutual Homeowners and filed a food freezer claim. Adjuster called and settled over the phone more than fair.
What a shame of 150 lbs of organic home grown beef, deer summer sausage, and excellent deer steaks.

I clear view of my cliff overlook and will do some night time coyote watching.

Ouch, that pile hurts to look at!

700.00 cash will help the hurting. I will say it was their idea of the amount not mine. Adjuster in CA and didn't even want the picture but I sent it anyway.

Just got a updated email from claims 500.00 is max paid. That's what I told the adjuster in the 1st place place and she said no.
