Awesome write up! Thank you for sharing. I love the sentiment of "I hope she gets him" and enjoy others successes. Adult onset hunter and the last couple years I've enjoyed my friends success and their kids' success (my son isn't quite ready yet) more than my own. I haven't killed too many but I guess I've matured in that I really enjoy others success more than my own.

Edit: I got a call from a player (I coach HS baseball) to tell me he shot a fat doe back in December. It was awesome. Made my day.
