Nice! We were there 2 weekends ago. Usually stay at River Run but I wanted to see their sites sizes in person and check out the campground in general. Very very happy with everything from a family camping perspective. Definitely a conservative campground though, not ideal for any TOO get together or our yearly adult cabrewing trip lol.

Yep we always camp down in the very southern portion of the campground away from the main area. We had sites 207-210 this year and loved them. Sites right on the river, but off the beaten path. Fully shaded. We've noticed the more South you go in the campground the electricity isn't the best. We flipped breakers a few times on Saturday, but when people started pulling out Sunday we didn't have any issues. Not sure if that is common up in the main sections or not. The river was way down, we did a 4 mile trip on tubes and it took us FOREVER! Didn't pack the cooler deep enough that day lol.

Camper got pulled for the first time this year. Sitting at the Allen County Fairgrounds getting ready for a show. Not exactly "camping" but at least it is being used.

Did some deep fried salmon, blacken halibut, and a shrimp boil. Weather rolled in and just missed us. I think everyone was in bed shortly after the sun went down...entirely to much food. I couldn’t even sit down after eating some cake. Just made my way to the camper and laid in bed miserable.

Shrimp boil! That’s awesome! Did my first one this year and it’s such a great mixture and so fun. Learned some things to do better next time—-glad you enjoyed!

We actually decided to stay home this weekend. It was the first full week of school for the oldest 2 and my wife. One look at the weather on Thursday and we said nope, staying put and just hanging out. First trip we have ever cancelled and I thought I would regret it. I'm looking forward to some cool camping weather!

You made the right call...I spent more time in the camper on this trip then I’d like to admit. Only time you could tollerate being out in it, the bugs would carry you away.

Home now, unpacked...ready for another shower. Made some memories and no one is upset about being home a few days early. 😂

The camper ain’t moving again till fall weather comes!!! Hard to beat fall camping, it’s the best time of year to camp.

We skipped camping this weekend as well. With the heat it wasn't worth it to just sit in the ac all weekend. Having to work yesterday and today helped in the decision making process too lol.

I'm with you guys, bring on the cooler camping temps. Doesn't make since to sit around a fire when it's 90 outside and the lows in the 70's lol
