Harvest Host is a cool way to camp, and the settings can be very private and beautiful.

The little bunkhouse served us well but the Mrs. slipped up talking about comfort and more camping for her if it was as comfortable as it used to be with the 28BHS. Fair week is on the horizon, I siezed the moment. Her only design stipulation was all 3 boys had to have their own bed, no couch or tables....fuck sake, that just narrowed it to 5% of floorplans within our budget woman.

Landed on a 2025 Tracer 308BRDLE, born 6/3/24 and landed at newer local dealer last Friday. Seen her Saturday AM online, toured/inspected & deposit on Monday, home yesterday, packed today, headed to buddys tomorrow for party Saturday for a easy shake down trip. Fingers crossed she gives us few fits and many years of memory making like all the others have.

I picked up this geo pro 12 footer for a good deal. I never would have thought I would become a camper owner. If it wasn't for my wife i would still be sleeping in a bivy sack in the truck bed. Dealing with a tent during cross country road trips was kind of a pain. This little camper tows easily enough. It should serve us well on trips to KY and for herding trails.

Very cool, hope it gives you lots of years of use and memory making!

Weather is finally starting to turn, time for some winter prep today/this week.

Propane selector switch went bad on me at the end of last season. Replaced it and the heater doesn't act right. Not as hot as it once was, has troubles igniting sometimes too. So I made an appointment for this week and dropped it off. Next week I'll pull the tires off and get new ones. I'll also repack the bearings while there.

Aint gonna lie, it did make me smile to see it in the mirror again! Good times ahead!

We're river lot people now. Nothing fancy, but it's close to home/work and it's a very kid friendly setup. We know a few of the regulars, so we should fit in well. I have a buddy with a boat docked just down river and he's willing to let us borrow it when he's out of town. We can canoe over to his dock, do some boating, and canoe back which will make for some memorable moments!
