The Phil Hics Buck 2012

Phil....I had not realized what happened until this morning. (Been Crazy Busy around here) Diane and I have decided we will adopt you anytime you can come down. But you can just call her Diane rotflmaoYesterday evening, I couldn't imagine how our season could ever be better. This morning.....I believe it CAN get better. It would be our pleasure to help in such a situation.

X 1000. Nothing would make us happier.

Good luck there Philbert.

That's it, practice hunting hill country with your cousin. Make those flatlander corn country mistakes there with him. Once you build up your chicken leg strength look me up, come on down, and kill your slunger.

The power of TOO! This is the 4th zone c offer. I appreciate each and every one of them. I am going to challenge myself on the public land this weekend and go from there. Overly generous offer Rick and Diane. Thank you sincerely. I will be in touch.

Ben- do not underestimate my chicken legs. They have humped 80-90lb ruck sacks on 15mile road marches (20 yrs ago Hahaha). I will leave your wife out of it this time. Once is funny. Twice could piss a man off. I got to draw the line. Lmao

Sadly, I called it quits after a 20hr day yesterday. Still have work to finish. Going to be driving into the night tonight. Probably study more aerials and still hunt my way into a tree around 8 or 9am tomorrow to come out at dark. I appreciate the well wishes from all.

Again, I am not playing and just being nice here Phil. I've got a dandy buck you can try........and he's got a unique "Turkey foot" on his left antler! Believe he is an 11 that will go 150 ish.

So maybe Ole Chicken Legs can get Ole Turkey Foot :smiley_confused_vra
Thanks for the laugh Ben. That was pretty good.

Rick- Hmmm . . . .You guys are on fire. Almost seems like a slam dunk given your track record the last week or so. I realize there are no guarantees in hunting. The offer is an amazing offer. I PM me your number if you don't mind. I can give you a call.

Just talked to Rick. Hung up, made arrangements with my parents to help with the kids until my wife gets off work tonight. Then my cousin called. We had been texting. He called and told me I would be a fool not to take up Rick on his offer. There are decent bucks in his area and you never know what can happen. . . . .But, Rick has local intelligence and stands hung already. He has me pumped up. I was very thankful my cousin was understanding. In fact, encouraging might be the better word. Looks like I will be hunting with Rick and Diane this weekend! He is already thinking I might want to use a crossbow this weekend. :smiley_crocodile:

I might consider it. I have never shot one before. I certainly wouldn't want to insult the man. lmao

Hadn't heard from you and was thinking you second guessed yourself. We difinately hope your still coming.
We don't feel at all like we'd be putting up with you. I'm sure we'd thoroughly enjoy it. Just hope you can put up with an all-camo house (including Diane's camo bathroom), furs and deer heads everywhere.
