Im so happy for the both of you Jesse. I remember years ago there was a thread asking how we would feel if our kids didnt take to hunting. You, like myself, expressed how devastated you'd be if your kid wasn't interested. Its all about continuing that heritage that is so much the fabric of who we all are. I was fortunate enough to experience it last year, and I'm thrilled that you get to experience it this year. Congratulations again to the both of you!

Just awesome, Jesse! Very impressive shooting by this young huntress. She placed the shot like a seasoned hunter. Congrats to both of you. I hope the future holds many more memories such as this for your family.
My uncle gave me the old family gambrell and this is the first deer I've done on it. Fitting it should be K's as we start a new chapter in our family hunting history, likely preserving a tradition that's as old as we'd even have written history to confirm. The meals from this doe will go to special family gatherings. She'll be consumed within a couple hundred yards of where she likely spent most of her life. It's as field to fork as you can get!
