The worst week....

I didn't see him yesterday. They have apparently moved down the ridge and that's why I didn't see him. But.I.drove back and forth waiting for him tonight and he put on a good show..... I didn't get my phone out fast enough...he was strutting rt on.the side of the road
 
Put him to bed tonight.... Hes roosted a little deeper in the woods tonight. He has his harem with him...so hopefully the hens will cooperate.... He will probably make me look like a fool, like they do most of the time...
 
Good luck Zach! I too am glad the wait is over even though I haven't a clue where a turkey will be tomorrow morning!:)
 
At least you have one located. Haven't seen a turkey on any of my properties the last several attempts to roost them. Been out early mornings and last light. No dice. We simply don't have a lot of them in my areas. Probably still go out in the morning hoping to find them.
 
Well it happened. I figured.it would though. I was set down at 530. At 6 two guys unloaded a four wheeler and rode.rt down.the gas rd under the.bird and started talking. They scared the.birds off the roost. Not sure where they went. Not a gobble after that. Went.to another.farm and.called.in 5 Jakes.

Man! That sucks ass! It amazes me how other people hunt. Just leaves a fellar scratching his head. Lol
