So... with this now being canceled and refunds available, I have an issue to remedy. I wondered if anyone else has handled something like this.

Tickets went on a credit card. The card got paid off. It wants to refund the credit card, I want my cash back, not a higher limit on my card. Anyone ever deal with their credit card company on something like this?

Could you go buy a Lowes or home depot gift card using that card, if the card wasn't closed, and then be back to 0 balance?

Good thought. Gift card spends the same and I have plenty of needs from either place.

It doesn't go back as a higher limit, it goes back on the card as a credit. You will + "x" amount to spend, just like cash.
