I was looking at the ATN OTS XLT 160.

Any others I should consider?

I know the resolution isn't great, but I'm only needing it for around the property. 100 yards or so. $600 is about what I would like to spend but could go a bit more for something vastly better. I heard something breaking branches last night in the woods and I was mad I had no way to see what it was. Whatever it was, it wasn't very sneaky!

I've been wanting it for some time and now I'm getting it.

Just a moncular, not a scope. Mounting it to a pic rail in front of an optic would be a bonus, but not necessary.

It will cost much more, but something cooled is best. It’s a real rabbit whole. Clip-ons are a good option for what you suggested above.

I'm liking this one better. 256 resolution vs the 160 of the ATN. For just around $100-150 more. May be worth it. But the ATN has a base magnification of 2. So by the time you zoom the 256 x2 you would lose that clarity.

The refresh rate is better on the ATN. 25 vs 50hz

Clarity or smoothness of scanning. Both sacrifice something for the price point.
