I guess I should add a little info on my truck…lol

2006' Dodge Ram 3500
Mega cab
4x4
Laramie
Single rear wheel
114,#$% miles
Pretty well loaded up with a bit of custom touches with lights, stereo, and two-tone paint.
I consider the performance mods to still be stock besides the BD transmission and convertor.

The bad news is that I had some problems getting an Ohio title for it, so it has a salvage title now. It was a stolen recovery vehicle in Alaska. In Alaska I had a "rebuilt title" for it, not "rebuilt vehicle". Ohio doesn't separate the two for some reason… When you run the CarFax on it, it shows the trail of how the title was established. It also shows that you should deduct $1,365 for the bad title. Nothing in comparison to a rebuilt vehicle. I was able to pull a loan out on it last year without any problems at all.

I bought the truck 3 years ago with 68,000 miles and a bad trans. I really don't need a 1 ton diesel anymore…as the only time I really pull a trailer, it's not even mine. I'm leaving a ton of info out on this, it's set up pretty nice to tow whatever you want and still get great fuel milage.

I have no idea what it books for to be honest, I don't much care either. I'd be happy to pull my Rigid lights off it and sell it for $25,000 as-is. Anything lower than that and I'm going to start pulling more things off it. I already had a dealer offer me almost $23,000 with me pulling everything off, I'd rather pass the deal onto someone else.

Coyote den? OH ya I remember now. Just remember the guys on TOO don't have short memories. LOL

Ohio salvage rebuilt titles are no problem. We drive (7) several cars and trucks that have salvage rebuilt titles at this time. No used car lot will take it in a a trade in. But we keep our good cars and trucks 10 yrs. and 100K so it makes little difference. We've done over 15 salvage cars and trucks over the last 15 yrs.

Any knowledgeable bank or CU will finance at least 50% of current regular value and sometimes more.

Dealers are doing just about anything to get pre-emission diesels these days. And to get their grubby hands on a 5.9 mega….they know they can put a sticker on it for over $30, and get it.

Last year a Ford dealer offered my son 1000.00 for a 2006 Ford 250 diesel crewcab with 110K with rebuilt salvage title on a trade in. The son gave the truck to me.

If a dealer offered you 23,000 I would take it and run. Pretty damn close to what you're asking and then you don't have to keep explaining the title situation and negotiating which parts stay on and which ones come off.

That's what I was thinking!

I started taking parts off it today… Dealer called me and I went and looked a pretty nice half ton that should work just fine for my needs.

The top is OD green with metallic flake and a hint of pearl coat. The silver is matched with the flake count and pearl which makes it just a touch lighter than factory.
