Anyone ever dealt with a hernia? I think I might be getting one. Starts out with a feeling...like a bubble is popping through my groin area...just to the right of my pubic hair. I can't feel anything though. Happens when I rip a big fart or cough LMAO! No pain...yet. WTF is going on here?

I have had 2, get it fixed now and you'll be fine. I had left side fixed when I was 5, RH side wasn't until in-between freshman-sophmore year of college. 10" of large intestines also got removed on that one.

If it's popping thru already with such little force you are in trouble when you need to lift something or start to drag a deer. A ton easier to fix before to far gone.

Get it done ASAP... With today's procedures you'll be on your feet the next day.... I should talk as I have had 2 of them for years and years.... Don't bother me much so I ignore them...

A hernia (if that's what it is) isn't a large operation UNLESS intestine gets stuck in it and then that becomes a BIG deal.

See your doctor, get it taken care of. If it requires surgery ask for a nerve block. It's worth it.

I think this depends largely on the exact nature and seriousness of your problem. I had a double hernia repaired in 2009. Doc told me I was probably just born that way as I did not specifically injure myself, and after 40 years of slowly getting worse, it eventually was causing me some problems. It was very painful for a few weeks, and it took me months to get my full strength back after they cut completely through my abdominal muscles in two places. it won't get anything but worse the longer you wait, but that might not amount anything for you. I scheduled mine strategically for immediately after hunting season ended, giving me nearly three months to recuperate before I had to start climbing ladders again.

Well fuuuuuk....it’s a hernia. Surgery won’t be till early October. Then 3 week recovery which means I’ll miss a good chunk of the first part of the season.
