Wow. My wife was not pleased I was gone all weekend, came home, hunted this morning, and then took off with Hank this evening to find another deer for a guy. BUT, i'll be darned if I am going to hide purchases from her with my tail tucked between my legs. She can just deal with it. I feel bad for you guys.

Hahahahaha I was jokin - trust me that's not an issue. 1 hunting blind = about half an hour in XYZ store. I'm not bichin, just jonesin over a blind now that I finally paid the tree stand man (btw, did you get that check?)

Let me back up Huck. First, this is a great great deal on a blind. I am not familiar with them, but for a hub style blind in this size (and shipped at this price) this is a great deal.

Now. Huck I came home smelling like I hadn't showered all weekend with a hint of smoke and stinky farts. Today I came home smelling like smoke, changed and grabbed Hank, and came back smelling like I had just field dressed a deer. Tonight was more of the same. Stinky dog, stinky deer, and more blood on me were the smells of the evening.

MR - are the windows a good height for shooting a xbow from sitting on a bucket with a swivel seat?
at 67", I can stand up if I dig a little hole...:smiley_coolpeace:

My son shot his buck from it sitting down on a chair. During turkey hunting he did have to stand because of the way the ground was. I think the windows are set up really nicely for adults. They could be a little lower for kids but they are not bad.

Thanks for posting this. I was deciding between a ground blind or a ladder stand for my property this year. Used a climber last year, but the only suitable tree for it was right on the deer trail. I ended up opting for a ladder stand, but this is a good enough deal that I had to get this too to have that option when I try out some public land instead of lugging in my climber all of the time.

I was frustrated with my property this weekend and headed to Hambden Orchard with my climber and the "trail" back deeper into the area was pretty tight for a climber on my back at the same time. A Friend told me where to go there, but I ended up cutting the hike off short and trying a more open wooded area with a good tree for my stand. The blind should give me some other options in my hunting adventures!

Love the video of your son! I was smiling ear to ear.

Thanks Mike I watch that atleast once a week. I love that hunt more than any of my own. I cant wait in 10 more day he will be out again for the early youth gun season and I wil have the camera rolling again, and if I am not lucky enough to shoot the Split Brow buck I am going to try and get my son on him.

Well I took the plunge and ordered one. If it's as good as I'm hoping then I'll get another one if the special is still on.
The two I've got now are kinda worn and I only have one good cross-pole out of 4. Hoping this will be easier to put up and more comfortable with better shooting windows.

Thanks for posting the special.

Thanks Tom. I bought two and had them shipped to Huck's house so his parents see what he has acquired. I think it's time to raise his rent do to his excess residual income.
