Dumped 100 pounds of. On on Christmas eve. Went out there today and it was all but gone, so I dumped 150 lbs. Looking for freezer meat. If it has headgear, 5 hats just a bonus.

I can hunt Monday only. It looks like sunny and a high of 15. At least I'll be inside my heated tower. Plan on all day hunt. Be my last blast for the season. Damn I hate to think of waiting another 10 months.

Monday should be good, frank. Coldest day of the muzzy season.

my thoughts so far, our group hunting in 3 different sites and we have seen nothing, not one deer at all, makes for a crappy season so far. Think we are going to stay an extra day since Monday looks the best.

Nasty windy today, I keep watching a deer trying to get up from its bed and the wind pushes her back to the ground:) when she finally got up she had to turn upwind to be able to take a shit

Thanks guys. I blew her heart out. I had a lot of fun driving deer. I'd never done it before and the group of guys I was with were great. The area we were hunting has a healthy population. I think this is partially due to the coyote hunters, they kill a great deal of yotes every winter.

Well it didn't work out for me going hunting this morning. I did the Lima gunshow over the weekend and had a great show. But the wife wasn't with me to overlook my well being and I forgot my medication Saturday night and left it at the show.
It was cold and pouring down rain and I was too proud to ask my grandson to go back and get it. Well that was a big painfull mistake. My MS muscle spasms went crazy and I suffered for it. Never again as I'm making up a traveling emergency medication kit.
I got up this morning at 5:45 with the good intentions of going hunting but I thought it best to stay in where it's warm deal with this muscle spasm problem as it'll take days for it to pass completely. It's better but maybe I've learned to be more careful. Probably not.
Everyone be safe and warm out there.

Damn, sorry to hear all the complications you have from forgetting your meds. That's one thing I do in my pack for hunting is have a medication box with all the different pills I may need if I forget. However I can't count the number of times I've forgotten my medication in the mornings or when I'm away all day somewhere other than hunting. Hope it settles down for you soon!

Thanks everyone. But it won't happen today. My body comes 1st and a doe for my brother comes in 2nd. It'll take 7-10 days for my muscles to come back to a normal just painfull and not pulled or torn muscles. I can't tolerate the cold and get chilled as that sets the spasms off to severe. The medication just makes me feel somewhat comfortable.
But what the hell life is good when your still alive with problems. I believe Joe's cold water post will explain that better than I can in written words.

Mike, you made her leak!

Hope you feel well enough to get out later Frank!
