Thug robs CCW holder in Dayton.

Sad BUT, The victim was able to go home to his family thanks to his CCW.
I don't care what the race of the players are. If your a "bad guy", praying on innocent people, you get what you deserve.

The scum that exists in todays society has little fear of the law. It is only by good people defending themselves and taking steps to protect themselves and/or their loved ones will scum think twice on a given night. Last night, in a "nice" neighborhood an elderly man was attacked in his driveway. Below is the initial report from the local paper.

"ASHTABULA — An elderly man was attacked by an unknown assailant outside his home on Walnut Boulevard.
The 82-year-old victim was unloading his car in his driveway at about 7:45 p.m. Sunday when the attack occurred, according to Ashtabula Police Department reports.
“An unknown male came from behind him and held a knife to his neck,” Chief Robert Stell said. “The victim immediately called to his wife to call the police.”
That’s when the suspect slashed the man’s throat, and in a struggle with the knife, the victim’s finger was cut, almost severing it, Stell said.
The suspect then fled the scene on foot westbound on Walnut Boulevard, police said. The suspect, described as a tall male, remains on the run.
“He never said anything or made any demands,” Stell said.
The victim was taken to Ashtabula County Medical Center, where they flew him by helicopter to a Cleveland hospital for treatment. He is recovering from the non-life threatening injuries.
Police are still investigating the case."

I carry every day I'm home. I hope I never have to use my CCW but damn it! Society has gone to hell in a hand basket and if you try to make me victim, I will use any means necessary to protect myself or my loved ones.

That's a crazy story. My wife and I bitty carry our ccw often now. She was always skeptical of why I carry so often. She was the type of person that thought things could never happen to her. Just the people on the news. Some always make it a point to read these type story's to her so she stays aware.

Jessica works in dayton and can't carry her CCW into the office. This leaves her vulnerable walking to and from her car. For Christmas I bought her a bulldog. Made out of polymer and seems tough as hell. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1419436581.014270.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1419436594.976930.jpg

I carry every day, everywhere. In the home, out of the home, to feed the dog, to check the mail, or to run to the grocery. Hope I never need to use it. Should the need arise, I don't want to be fumbling around trying to remember if I am carrying or where it is. I want it to be as natural as reaching for my cell phone. Realistically, it needs to be. I will be running on auto-pilot and adrenaline released from the fear of the situation.

Seems the CCW is proving it works! Sooner or later the thugs and criminals no matter the race or religion will figure it out someday that it DOESN'T pay to be a criminal!

You surely jest in thinking crooks will get smarter. Taking out the dumb ones only improves the breeding gene pool.

My wife has one of them also to carry in and out of work. She is a nurse and they have a strict no carry policy. I would hate be be on the receiving side of it. Mean looking

Yep. Been a handful of nurses, employees, visitors attacked leaving the hospital my wife works at as well. Might need to get her one. I know of at least one of her co-workers who simply carries a Kimber in with her. lol My wife doesn't have her CCW, so NO, it is not her.

Phil, gotta say the day my wife took a job away from the hospitals in Lima was one of my best days ever. Although now she travels throughout the tri county area to various houses, so Im not sure if its any less scary
