I worked at Ponderosa for 3 years starting my Sr. year in High School. Don't get me started on all the sick shit that happens there. It's why I prefer to eat at home.

Our kitchen is wide open for the world to see, and sick people like you have mentioned is the reason why! I don't want anyone to ever think any of our product has been "doctored", and if I ever catch one of our employees messing with someone's food, I'd kill 'em right before I fired 'em!

Hell yes. That's one thing I never did was fugg with people's food. Not to say I didn't break some health codes while messing around with waitresses in the cooler and freezer, but some of the things that go on are unbelievable
Today I learned that when you eat Szechuan fish followed by a couple of super hoppy IPAs, the next morning my shit smells so bad it burns my nose. And it smells so bad it actually woke my wife up.
So I learned after this combo use the upstairs bathroom the next morning.[emoji28]

TIL, that when there is a wreck, no one bothers to stop and help or see if everyone is okay. They just drive around the accident. Hell, I don't even think anyone bothers to call 9-1-1.
I also learned that even when there are ambulances, a fire truck, red cones and state police cars that clearly have the scene blocked off, there will be idiot after idiot trying to weave their car through the scene to get to where they are going.
I was the only person that stopped to help and stayed to give a witness report. I couldn't believe it and was told that happens all the time. What is wrong with people?

Employee told this to a customer while I was standing there...I intervened nicely and said employee got all indignant.
Google fu proved him wrong.
You have enough service in Cabelas to use Google? Huh it's normally a darn near dead zone for me.
It is crap for service (intentionally I bet) but I had 2 bars of "I told you so" available.

Last night ... & today I learned that if you go to replace your inline water filter & the o ring seal is wore out, you'll have no water in the house until properly replaced.
