Tis' the season!

I have been shooting all summer out of the hayloft in the barn which gets me about 17 or 18 feet up shooting out the back door, also have been shooting out of a blind set up in the barn while sitting on a chair. Great practice at different angles. Is it season yet? LOL

That was my problem for awhile was that I just got caught up in just shooting and I finally told my self to practice right or don't practice at all.

Oh man, 68 degrees at 6:30pm. It's almost here! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1410474392.579233.jpg

Just took the dog out and with the temp at 45 i felt like i should have been loading the truck up to head out. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas.

Same here but I opened the garage door at 4:50 this morning to leave for work. This morning would be a great morning for squirrel hunting. Saw my first buck in hard horn as I was driving through Loveland this morning. He had one long 10-12" spike going straight up on his left side and a 45-50" main frame 4 pts side on his right side. He was eating grass along the little Miami river not 10 feet off the road.

Gettin close TOOzers........

Felt like it would have been a great morning to be sitting in my stand also!

I'm at work now TOO. Didn't see a darn thing on my way in but a lot of open road!

Good shooting Xbowguy!!

Yea I agree this colder weather makes me think I should be getting ready to sit in a stand. On opening day of the season I'm in a buddy's wedding that evening. Not to happy they decided to have it that day but I still probably go out in the morning lol

Deer season opens tomorrow here in NH. I'm going to sit in my blind behind the house in the morning. Temps are going to be in the mid 30's at dawn. That's damn cold for September 15th! I've actually got my jacket and pants I normally wear in November ready to go. Pretty strange to be that cold so early.

Good luck!

Good luck ajupsman!

One of my parking lot sweeper operators told me the deer have been running like crazy at night lately. If anyone hunts off 127 between Celina and Van Wert, he said they were all over the place. Several of them smacked by vehicles as well.

We were down at the property over the weekend and were able to pull all the cards and hang one stand on a real promising creek crossing. Hope it pays off, at least being optimistic that I'll have a bow to hunt with by late October LOL. Daughter's softball camp at OU went real good Saturday.

Well the Vapor Trail Limbdriver Pro V is on it's way....my wife ended up ordering it for my B-day. Bow is about half paid for so there is hope that I actually may get it one of these days!

You better hurry!!!

LMAO.....boy I think I'm really pushing it! Funny thing is over the years I've seen guys on forums talk about getting new bows just before season and I always thought they were nuts or not serious archers LOL!! Thank goodness no more softball camps til November and everything has settled down for now.
