Tomorrow

I won’t be there either
I just can’t do 4 hours in the truck for a couple hours shooting
☹️
Don’t blame ya. I wouldn’t make that drive either. I’m looking forward to seeing Tiny and the gang. I just found out today we can’t go to Cloverdale this year. Like you did last year, we have to attend a wedding. Since I’m gonna miss that one, I may go to Tennessee next weekend. And I may try to make it to ETAR. Probably should see that while I still can. Unfortunately, I know I have at least six weddings this summer and one of them may be that weekend.

The Compton traditional bow hunters rendezvous the week after Cloverdale in Noblesville IN. They are having a new event this year called the Bowhunters Championship which sounds like right down your alley! Plus there's four 3-D ranges and a ton of other stuff.

Wiley I might make Compton this year also
I hope you make it! Its a far better shoot and experience than Cloverdale and Compton Bowhunters are a great organization to support. They are promoting traditional archery for the youth of America which I feel is really important. You owe it too yourself to check it out. There's really no comparison between the two shoots. If you have grandkids that like archery you want to bring them. It's a family affair with lots of kids having a blast.

A fairly weak turnout but not bad for the first shoot of its kind. Next years event will be scheduled in January. They really put a lot of thought into how to lay the thing out to shoot 40 individual targets, indoors, at traditional range. The longest shots were right at 30 yards. I think this thing could become a good sized event in coming years. We had a fine time shooting with friends. We wouldn’t know a single one of them if it weren’t for archery.

Not that it matters…much…but Mason did beat me by a little, this time. 😀

Brock I was hoping you’d be at Cloverdale but I understand family definitely comes first.
I will be in Tennessee next weekend and the Tennessee classic in may.
As well as ETAR which is a great shoot I will catch you at one of them , or the bean shoot I will definitely be camped at the bean shoot all week.
I think I’m going to skip next weekend on Tinys advice and try to make the Classic. As much as I’d like to just skip the wedding and go to Cloverdale, I’m not gonna do it. I’d forgotten about Compton, so thanks for the reminder Wiley.
