Sean- Those corn stalks were a thing of beauty. I couldn't help but post them. Ray Charles could have followed the blood trail from the Slick Trick. This was AFTER it went thru the near side shoulder and exited middle of rib cage on far side. And you are correct. J slid in a good one. lol

I was off when I was in the heat of the moment on my guesstimate score. He is NOT a 140 class animal. He was however mature as his body shows, big droopy belly. My goal (standard) was 140 and above, but I am happy none the less. I would do it again, given the chance.

Now my focus shifts to filming for others! I will try to get my little bro his first...

That's a very nice buck Jeremy and one to be proud of. Glad to hear you filming others. That's what I'm doing as well. I've filmed a lot of neat whitetail footage over the years but have never filmed a kill. I hope to change that this year! Congrats again on your deer and good luck on filming TOO!

At a quick glance, I think many of us would have thought 140". Wide, heavy, good bases, good main beams. . . . I am thinking he didn't miss it by a lot. He is missing some tine length that would have put him there, but he is a darn fine deer. Congrats Jeremy.

Yep in the end it's not about the score so much as the memories of the harvest..... That's a good buck regardless the numbers....

Thanks guys, hope I didn't come off ungrateful on this harvest! I love the opportunity on EVERY harvest and even the sightings. This sport means so much to me as it does all of you.
