our garden has been ok. nothing like last year, but good. Nancy has done an admirable job of keeping up with the weeds. beans, peppers and tomatoes doing good. cukes all died, two zucchini plants produce more than we can eat. cherry tomatoes on fire now.

God bless that woman.... Especially putting up with you.... 😂😂😂

My garden went fallow a long time ago, which is a nice analogy for my life these days. Too many irons in the fire to tend to it properly. Already looking forward to next year and getting back to doing it right!

The garden may have sucked this year, but it’s producted a steady flow of fresh chilie!!! This hot weather sure has added some heat to this batch.

I picked another 5 gallon bucket full of green beans, 25lbs of tomatoes and at least a half bushel of various peppers. mostly Jalefuego, Jalepeno, and green chilies. I'm done gardening now. two people do not need this much food.

It's been hell getting any ground tilled up around here with the rain. I had every intention of moving the garden closer to my eventual chicken/duck enclosure, but the ground in that area is still saturated, so that'll have to wait for another day. We moved the ducks today and tilled up the original garden area. Good sun and wind next 2 days should let me work it up pretty good and I can plant as I have time. I have $75 worth of tomatoes begging for a home in the ground!

Christine did her normal starts from seeds. Gave them all away today, gonna skip this year. I’ve gotta take some trees out so she can get some more sun and it just hasn’t happened yet. Maybe next year...

Spent most of the last 2 evenings crawling around in the dirt planting stuff. So far, there's 30 tomatoes in 8-9 different varieties, 16 peppers, cucumbers, squash, and zucchini in the ground. Still need to get my beans in and the remaining 24 peppers. I'll list a full variety rundown once I'm finished.

The best part of gardening this year is represented by the fact that Kenna can walk well enough to join me and she loves being outside. If I'm putting work boots on, she's right there with me ready to get after it. Having her as my shadow only makes gardening that much more rewarding.
