To say i hate painting is an understatement I absolutely hate it with every bone in my body. However I can't leave shit alone right now so I tore the cub down to the frame while leaving the motor and dash pedestal on. After several cans of paint and more cuss words than I care to remember it's finally back together .. Had to repaint the rear pan that someone just repainted since it was way to bright of a yellow. Have to do the headlight panel yet and the dash decals if the steering wheel will come off. Doesn't look to terrible

Got playing today. Took some pipes and mocked them up then welded and sanded them down. Cut the top to a mitre style with the grinder. Heated the pipes up to about 600 degrees and hit them with high temp header paint . I think it looks pretty dang cool an almost like it's meant to be . I utilized the factory muffler with the stack she's nice an quiet .

The lone Blackey got taken for an unannounced airlift a few days ago. I was in the barn and all hell broke loose, as I emerged a hawk had her a couple feet off the ground. Thankfully it dropped her and she made it to the coop. The flock split into 3 groups and headed separate directions while a small cloud of black feathers floated to the ground. She's doing well and didn't miss a beat laying. Carry on little one.

For those of you with chickens, do you figure it’s too early with these cold temps coming at night to boot some birds out to the coop. They are all feathered out. Probably a month and a half/ 2 months old at a guess. This is our first go around with them so any advice would be appreciated!

I would think they would be OK if in the coop but if you can wait till next weekend that'd be even better. There's some cold nights coming early next week at least here there is
