TOO Salt Fork Muzzy hunt - 1/3/26

Hey group! Ryan aka westy new to the group! Super stoked to be tossed the dates and invite by Mr Adam Nickle. First time coming down to hunt with this group, and the area! Planning coming down Friday after work, with camper possibly. As a first timer down there, what any gear packing, and essentials, other than the basics, gun and orange lol can’t wait!!!

Best advice I can give you is too stay in Huron county (more deer in the muck or at lovers lane) this is from a Seneca/Erie/Sandusky county boy. welcome and glad to have another Northern Ohio boy on the forum

State park, see loop info above. Electric only with big beautiful shower house and water. Keep camper winterized or only using black with antifreeze and dump there (if open) or when home. Haven't gotten sites yet, like to wait till closer.

P.S. There's always a chance for pizza one evening.

Thread 'TOO Muzzy Hunt 1/6/24 Salt Fork - Meeting Location Added'

Looks like there’s enough interest and committed parties to do this again this year. We’ll work out the details of where/when to meet Saturday morning. It worked out well last year to do a tailgate lunch so I’m for doing that again. Potluck style so chime in with what you can bring. This, of course, is open to all. If you haven’t made it to an event this would be a great opportunity to meet some folks. It’s a great day of driving deer, swapping stories, and camaraderie. There’s camping available at the state park if that’s an option for you.
