Well I am not going to make it this year, my wife is having thyroid surgery Monday the 29th and I just wouldn’t feel right leaving her alone after a couple days. She has helped me through more surgeries than I can count. The doctor doesn’t want her lifting much for at least 10 days, so she couldn’t even keep the wood burner stoked.

My mom just had this surgery at the end of October. She will need your help for a bit. Hope everything goes as well as moms.

My wife got the call today and has to be at the hospital at 5:30, which made me happy I like being the first one into surgery. We are an hour from the hospital and she will need to shower in antibiotic soap. So she needs to be up and moving at probably 3:30AM, and she is really not happy about that!!! My wife is really not a morning person.
