Guy on the property next to us shot a doe Saturday. I went and tracked it for him and pulled cams. Stituation was all wrong and she needed time. Once she was bumped multiple times before me even getting on the track, I knew it would be tough. We got close a few times but I made some mistakes by thinking I was with my normal group. I failed him because I didn't take the time to treat him like the rookie he was. Couldve got a shot at 20 yards but he didn't even have a bolt in the crossbow.
I was very surprised to not see the cards full after a 2 week soak. I didn't check Jon or Michael's, just the 2 I put out. Only one buck and a couple of big groups of does. Some cool pics with the snow.
