TOO Turkey Report '18

This may be a dumb question but I couldn’t find anything in the regs that addressed it. Is it legal to call turkeys before season comes in as long as you’re not carrying a weapon? Was wondering cuz I’ll be out this weekend taking down tree stands and shed hunting and wanted to try and get on some birds for scouting and honestly for the fun of it lol. Thoughts?

It's legal but I wouldn't educate any birds you plan on hunting.

Cool, thanks Chad. Not planning on doing any serious calling, just trying to get a couple shock gobbles. My wife is going with me and she’s never heard a bird gobble in the wild so I thought it might be kinda fun for her.
