Tow rig/daily driver

If the dumb asses would flush it and replace the torque converter it would be fixed and done.

They introduced the 8 speed with the wrong fluid. Fluid draws moisture causes issues.

They changed fluids to Mobil 1 which fixed the moisture issue.

Torque converter is glazed from moisture. Replace it and fluid and all will be solid.

Issue is GM is being a dumb ass.

Jon, what model year did this start happening?

On my second F150. Had 2 other Rangers before. Absolutely love this truck. 2017 2.7 ecoboost. 20K on it.

GM refuses to solve the most simple quality problems. I’ve said it on here before, but the reason I quit buying GM trucks is that I had 4 of them and the Last 3 ALL HAD THE SAME ISSUE!!! The clunk in the intermediate shaft of the steering column. And all 3 model years had service bulletins against the issue. So GM, if you know there is a problem, FIX IT! Or just loose customers. I’ll never go back.

Ugh. I was done buying GM when they sold out to the union. I like Fords. My next car will likely be an F150.

Welcome too the Toyota brotherhood 😂😂😂

What year and trim package you get? Mines a 14 Tundra SR jut broke 100K with it...

Finally, an oil filter and oil drain plug next to each other. Beyond the filter being a vertical mount style, it was a clean & easy change on the 8qrts.

DIC said 65% oil life left left, but I feel the first couple changes are the most important. Mobil 1 full syn. and Mobil 1 filter installed at 3181miles.
What’s going on with that cross member?
